About the Academy
The Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Kazakhstan was established as the Kazakhstan branch of the International Academy of Sciences of Higher Education in 1992.
IAS HEI is a non-governmental organization uniting nearly 1,200 prominent scientists and educators of the professional education system from 45 countries worldwide.
The Academy includes 43 universities in the country and more than 136 members from all regions. In 2012, the academy was transformed into the Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Kazakhstan.
