About the award
The title «Honored Worker of the Higher School of Kazakhstan» is an honorary award established by NAS HEI to recognize the outstanding contribution of scholars, teachers and education organizers to the development of the country's higher school.
The award is presented at the annual session of the NAS HEI general assembly in a ceremonial setting.
Award criteria
- At least 20 years of work in the higher education system
- A significant contribution to the development of science or education
- Recognition in the professional community
- Recommendation by university academic councils or NAS HEI members
