SHORT DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:

  • • automation of management processes of educational institutions through the introduction of cloud digital services
  • • formation of a unified information space for higher and secondary specialized education
  • • integration of information resources of educational institutions into the domestic educational space

TASKS:

Research of blockchain technology for application in the field of cryptographic protection and verification of the authenticity of official documents of the educational process in universities: problems, foreign experience, methods.

Development of a procedure for digitization, storage and protection against falsification of official documents of the learning process using blockchain technology.

Design and development of an information system for verifying university documents, integrated into an international platform with modules for a digital registry of official documents of the educational process, cryptographic data protection in a decentralized system and integration with external university platforms for data synchronization, using the example of the «UNIVER 2.0» information and software complex, and international platform.

Registration of the results of the development of an information system for verifying official documents of the educational process at universities in Kazakhstan, integrated into the international platform for obtaining a security document.

Experimental testing of a software product for verifying the authenticity of official documents of the learning process on the basis of KazNU named after al-Farabi, dissemination of experience among universities with the «UNIVER 2.0» system.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION STAGES:

  • Stage 1 – Research of blockchain technology for use in the field of cryptographic protection and verification of the authenticity of educational documents: problems, methods, models, algorithms. Duration – 3 months.
  • Stage 2 – Design and development of an information system for document verification in universities, integrated into the international platform. Duration – 12 months.
  • Stage 3 – Development of a scientific and methodological justification for the formation of a digital register of official documents of the educational process at a university using blockchain technology. Duration – 12 months.

IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD:

October 2020 - December 2022 (27 months).
