On April 23, 2024, at the Workshop «European Experience in Ensuring the Quality of Education in the Practice of the Countries of the Central Asian Region», organized by the Central Asian Association for Accreditation of Education (CAAAE), a global political dialogue in the field of education was held. The organizers were: the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Central Asian Association for Accreditation of Education (CAAAE), the National Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Kazakhstan (NAS HSK), with the support of the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), ENTER – Educators professional development. At the provided site, representatives of universities of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries, accreditation agencies, international organizations, scientists and experts in the field of accreditation, rating and advanced training took part in an interesting event that contributed to the content of the general idea of creating a single Central Asian space with EuroUnion. The key discussed position of all speakers and presenters was to improve the quality of education in the Central Asian region, especially in the field of engineering education. Especially useful and informative in the opinion of all WorkShop participants was the speech of the President of the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) Jose Carlos Quadrado with the report «Central Asia's Path to Educational Excellence: Adopting the EUR-ACE label for International Program Accreditation». The synchronous formation of accreditation processes in the Central Asian region with similar processes in the European Union was vividly and spectacularly shown in the report of Academician of the NAS HSK, President of CAAAE A. Abzhapparov – «European Union ERASMUS + projects as the basis for the integration of engineering universities in the region into the European educational space». For the first time, based on the analysis of Scopus materials, ENAEE Vice President, Professor M. Burkitbaev, together with World Bank expert Mark Akoev, in the report "Cooperation in the field of engineering science and education in the countries of Central Asia: status and prospects», analytical calculations were made on the real scientific interaction of scientists in the Central Asian region. A very lively, interested dialogue took place at the speech of PhD, iPEER Sagidolda Yerulan, who presented the report "Creating of a multi-level modular system for training engineering specialties based on international network cooperation - International Network ENTER». Bright and memorable was the speech of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbaev Rakhmetullina S.Zh., who presented a project for the development of the Concept for the Development of Engineering Education, including the National Model of Engineering Education. Speakers included László Ungváry, a professor from Germany and others. As noted by all participants of the Workshop, the speech of Goran Dakovic, head of the agency audit department at the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), was very useful. In his speech, Mr. Dakovich expressed deep confidence in the reliability and quality of the work of CAAEA, which strictly adheres to European standards confirmed by ENQA. He also emphasized his readiness to always support any initiatives taken by the association. These words demonstrate his high regard for the professionalism and goals of CAAAE.
