The next session of the general meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Kazakhstan

The Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Kazakhstan NAS HSHK will hold the next Session of the General Meeting on November 8, 2024. The meeting will be held at 15:00 at the address: Almaty, Zhambyl Street, 25 in the conference hall of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay. The following are invited to the Meeting: scientific and pedagogical community, university rectors, members of NAS HSК, prominent scientists, production specialists, representatives of government bodies, national companies and organizations. The main report "Tasks of the NAS HSК in the light of the message of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan" will be delivered by the President of the NAS HSК, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academician, Galimkair Mutanovich Mutanov, as well as PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor, Chairman of the Board - Rector of the East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbayev Rakhmetullina S.Zh. "Modern requirements for training engineering personnel" and Doctor of Social Sciences, Professor, Academician of the NAS HSК Dzhamanbalaeva Sh.E. on the topic: "Topical issues of humanization of higher education". The scientific and pedagogical community of the country will consider the current issues and tasks facing scientists and teachers of the country today - first of all, large-scale reforms; radical transformation of the political system; fundamental changes in public consciousness; renewal of political and social life; development of the innovation process in the economy; participation of Kazakhstani scientists and engineers in the implementation of the country's course for the development of the digital economy; improving the quality of training of engineering personnel. The Meeting will summarize the results of the elections of full members and corresponding members of the NAS HSК, and will also hold a ceremony of awarding the best representatives of the scientific and pedagogical community with the NAS HSК badge "Honored Worker of the Higher School of Kazakhstan".
