The book is dedicated to the memory of Nagashybay Amangaliuly Shaikenov, a legal scholar and politician, doctor of law, professor. N.A.Shaikenov took an active part in the creation of draft major legislative acts of independent Kazakhstan, was one of the main developers of the State program of legal reform and the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1995). He made a significant contribution to the development of conceptual problems of legal science: the essence of law, law and interests in society, the formation of a legal society. The publication presents archival documents and photographs, reviews of associates and relatives.
