Result-based management: the educational system of East Kazakhstan State Technical University named after D. Serikbayev

The monograph sets out the concept of result-based management, based on the methodology of indicative planning of scientific and educational activities, described in the form of formalized procedures. Much attention is paid to the system of indicators: from questions of their formalization to algorithms for constructing analytics of the functioning of the educational system, thereby representing the functionality of the monitoring system of the scientific and educational process. In addition, the requirements for the construction of strategic plans; the functional actions of all participants in the university planning system are determined; the requirements for the functionality of the information-analytical system for managing the scientific and educational activities of the university are described. The experience and results of EKSTU in building a system of planning, management and monitoring of the scientific and educational activities of the university according to the concept of result-based management are highlighted.
