The book is dedicated to M.B. Saparbayev, a scientist, teacher, sports activist, academician of the International Academy of Higher School Sciences and the Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, first rector of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Humanitarian University. Many sports initiatives are associated with his name, primarily international tournaments in Greco-Roman wrestling in Shymkent. Also, with his participation, 90 masters of sports of the USSR and the international class, champions of the Soviet Union, Kazakhstan, Europe were trained.

The publication presents the memoirs of colleagues and relatives, media publications and the works of the academician, as well as photos and archival materials.
