The book is dedicated to the academician of the Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Alma Gaisanovna Sarmurzina. The name of Professor A.G. Sarmurzina is associated with the formation of environmental education in Kazakhstan. She invested enormous scientific experience in the creation and development of an interdisciplinary Master's Course in the specialty "Ecology" at al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The publication presents archival materials, memoirs of contemporaries and relatives, selected works of the scientist, as well as photographs.
