The book is dedicated to Aitmukhamed Abdullauly Abdulin, geological engineer, doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences, professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, honored worker of sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A.A. Abdulin is the author of numerous articles and monographs, laureate of State Prizes of the Kazakh SSR and the USSR, for many years he headed the Institute of Geological Sciences named after K.I.Satbayev, he was one of the vice-presidents of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and organizer of science in Kazakhstan.

The publication presents archival materials, selected works of the scientist, memoirs of contemporaries and relatives, as well as photographs.
