The book is dedicated to the memory of an outstanding scientist in the field of oxidative catalysis, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of chemical sciences, professor Dauren Khamituly Sembayev. The result of fundamental research by D.Kh.Sembayev is the creation of methods for the synthesis of anhydrides, imides, nitriles of carboxylic acids - valuable intermediates for the production of heat-resistant polymers, stable dyes and pharmaceuticals.
