The book is dedicated to the doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Academy of Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Kazakh Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Serik Mukhamedzhanuly Mukhamedzhanov. Almost the entire territory of Kazakhstan is covered by hydrogeological studies of the scientist S.M. Mukhamedzhanov, on the basis of which practical recommendations were developed on the use of groundwater in the national economy. Professor S.M. Mukhamedzhanov was one of the closest associates and assistants of K.I. Satbayev, he also worked as scientific secretary of the Institute of Geology sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR.

The publication presents archival materials, memoirs of contemporaries and relatives, media publications and selected works of the scientist, as well as photographs.
