The book is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Tolegen Masenuly Masenov, doctor of biological sciences, professor, corresponding member of the NAS of the Republic of Kazakhstan, honored worker of science of Kazakhstan, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War. T.M. Masenov is the founder of a scientific school on comparative morphology of vertebrate animals in Kazakhstan. The works of Professor T.M.
