The book is dedicated to the life and work of Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor of the Department of International Relations and World Economy Zharas Omaruly Ibrashev.

Professor Zh.U. Ibrashev is the founder of the Faculty of International Relations at KazNU named after al-Farabi, the author of monographs, scientific works, methodological developments, educational special courses and many popular science publications, the most famous French scholar and popularizer of democratic ideas. For more than 60 years he has been studying the problems of European integration. The book presents selected works, memoirs of colleagues, students and relatives, as well as archival and photo materials.
